The latest housing market numbers for Durham Region show a positive increase in Sales, asking prices, and new listings compared with 2010 Region of Durham numbers. Looking at this month versus last month, it is clear that the market is winding down as most buyers and sellers put moving on hold for the holidays. The number of active listings for November, as expected, has dropped by over 250 listings from October.

H The number of days it took to sell a home in Durham Region in November 2011 was,
on average, 31 days. Considerably lower than the 38 days it took on average to sell
a home in November last year.
