MLS Real Estate Statistics for Durham Region
(including Whitby, Brooklin and Oshawa)

Spring is most definitly in the air and hopping along!  The latest housing market numbers for Durham Region show a continued push in Sales, Asking prices, and New listings when compared with March 2011's Region of Durham numbers.  March is as fertile as expected with an increase of over 180 active property listings from last month! 

With the average selling price in Toronto at over $548,000 it may be time to consider Durham Region when you are thinking of making a move!

H  The Durham Region area had 1179 sales in March 2012 measured against 975
       home sales in March 2011 and well over 300 more sales than in February 2012.

H  The average asking price for a home in the Region of Durham in March 2012
       was $330,481 in comparison to $317,845 in March 2011

H  The number of days it took to sell a home in Durham Region in March 2012 was,
       on average, 26 days showing a faster selling time when compared with last
       month’s numbers of an average of 29 days.
